David W. Everson (PhD-Notre Dame, '17) is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Southern Maine. His community-based teaching and scholarship focus on Indigenous peoples' sovereignty and social movements. He is a Research Fellow with the Center for American Indian Research and Native Studies (CAIRNS) on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
