University of Connecticut Hartford Director, Sustainable Global Cities Initiative
In my retirement, professor emeritus from the University of Texas at Austin, I have joined the faculty of the Department of Public Policy, UConn, and have been asked to explore the viability of a research center focussed on cities and their challenges at the relatively new UConn Hartford Campus. This has afforded me an opportunity to explore the research capacity of UConn and how it might be aligned with issues of cities and towns in the state, the nation and abroad.
