Robert Lopez is the executive director for communications and public affairs at Cal State LA. His office oversees media relations, public affairs, social media, website design, university branding and messaging for the president and senior leadership. Prior to that, he was an adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and an investigative journalist at the Los Angeles Times. He was part of a team of Los Angeles Times reporters that won the 2011 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service.
