Carol Wallinger is speaking in a Best Practices session about Civic Engagement and creating a Medical Legal Partnership in Camden, New Jersey. Carol is a clinical professor at both Rutgers Law School and Rutgers School of Nursing Camden, and an adjunct professor at Cooper Medical School at Rowan University. Carol teaches professional communication at the law and medical schools, and inter-professional ethics at the nursing and medical schools. She also is a board-certified hospice nurse. Carol concentrates her work on teaching professionals and students to translate their work across disciplines, via inter-professional education (IPE) experiences, using interdisciplinary theories of written and oral persuasion and advocacy.
