Julie Ann Jones is a Project Management and Procurement Strategist who partners with executives, cross-divisional teams, and external entities to strategically source and manage contractual engagements to the financial and product benefit of her sponsor. Julie has a history of transforming daily cross-functional operations through the development of innovative systems and enterprise architectures for organizations in diverse industries. She has significant strength in building, training and leading dynamic teams, inspiring ingenuity, creativity, accountability, and morale. Julie spent four years engrossed in a crash course on higher education administration at La Salle University. Once again, her all-hands-on-deck approach led to her role evolving across all financial functions for the University. She oversaw procurement and financial system projects her entire tenure, however she also supervised accounts payable, payroll and even accounting briefly. It is here that Julie had the opportunity to really flex her negotiation skills and contract acumen to provide savings and value in a financially challenging atmosphere. Julie is currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Procurement Services at Drexel University, where she oversees the University’s approximately $350M spend portfolio.
